Pricing Guidelines

Southwind Web Services can build you a new web site or improve an existing one. We can deliver a site within an agreed budget and scope of work, or at an hourly rate. Depending on your requirement we offer the choice of a one-off contract or an ongoing development and support plan. Your project requirement is the key factor.

Individual Projects

If you just need a website built or modified we can do that within an agreed budget and scope or at an hourly rate. The choice depends largely on the scope of work and the content that you currently have available.

As a rule fixed budgets are best when you know exactly what you want and exactly which resources (eg. graphics, copy and other content) you have available. An hourly rate is best when you don't have a fixed scope of work or need content developed.

Ongoing Plans

Depending on your requirements a longer term plan may be required. Some of our customers require continuous development, promotion and support in order to meet their objectives. In fact we have been supporting some of our customers since 2003.

Each case is different but as a rule there is an initial "busy" stage where site development consumes a lot of time followed by a steady rate of ongoing development and support work inside an agreed monthly budget.

Pricing

We don't compete on price (although we are competitive), we compete on quality. We have the skills and take the time to produce high quality work. Even for outsourced projects we use quality contractors and monitor the quality of their results.
